Our Vision
Integrative Touch’s Beginning
Integrative Touch (InTouch) was created when founder Shay Beider’s life was forever changed by one little girl in the hospital, who was frightened and alone as she was about to undergo surgery.
As a pre-med student, Shay witnessed this little girl go under anesthesia in a state of intense fear and in that moment something inside of her said, “No. It doesn’t have to be this way.” Shay understood the profound importance of caring for the whole child in body, mind, heart and spirit. Integrative Touch was founded to honor that little girl, to protect children from unnecessary suffering, and to address all aspects of the healing process. InTouch’s founder went on to create a new therapeutic approach called Integrative Touch™ Therapy, which is designed to treat deep pain and suffering and to facilitate transformative healing for anyone.

Our mission is to provide connection, wellness and healing opportunities that change the lives of anyone touched by pain, suffering, or medical challenges. Integrative Touch is a leader in integrative medicine that is committed to ending isolation in illness and transforming trauma through togetherness.

Imagine a place where everyone could experience, and take part in the highest quality of care, regardless of ability, background, or finances. A place where families can heal together. Where people can experience healing within the deepest part of themselves.
Our vision is to change the way people experience health and healing.
That’s what we’re building in the Integrative Touch Healing Center.
A first of its kind healing center that includes educational facilities and therapy rooms to provide workshops, support groups, Kids Compassion Camp and more than 100 different integrative healing therapies.
Integrative Touch imagines a future where our unique model of “Health-Caring” is available to all who need it, not only nationwide, but globally. Together we can make this future a reality, and embrace the generous spirit of giving that each community has to offer the most vulnerable among us.
