With over 15 years of diverse professional, technical, and academic experience, David brings passion and commitment to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and communities disproportionately affected by collective, systemic, and personal traumas. Grounded in mutual aid and harm reduction principles, he has dedicated his career to leveraging his intersecting facets of privilege to serve and amplify voices within BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and disability communities. Additionally, David is passionate about building relationships across diverse sectors, including public health, non-profit organizations, small business, academia, and even performance art.
Prior to his role at Integrative Touch, his professional journey has included roles as a Financial Advisor at a Fortune 100 life insurance company, health & wellness retail management, and a University Climate Change Coalition Fellow for the University of Arizona. David has also been deeply involved in community volunteer and organizing efforts. With a strong educational background in Environmental Studies and a minor in Professional & Technical Writing from the University of Arizona, David brings a multidisciplinary approach to his work, combining financial acumen, project management, community engagement, and creative design skills.
Team Fun Facts: David has three pets at home and as many guitars. His hobbies include film photography, gardening, computer programming, graphic design, and birdwatching. Because of his busy schedule, David often combines his passions in ways like programming his home music library to stream anywhere he has an internet connection, or creating digital art inspired by film photographs of his dogs and cat.
